
International Anatolian Silk Road Festival Turks in Stone Exhibition
The cultural heritage of the ancient Silk Road, which connects Asia and Europe in the depths of history, met with art lovers with the exhibition themed “Turks in Stone” organized within the scope of the International Anatolian Silk Road Festival. The exhibition was held in our room with the presence of Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu and the participation of the provincial protocol.
The exhibition included examples of cultural heritage carved into stones bearing the traces of Turkish history. Works that shed light on the migration routes, art and belief systems extending from Central Asia to Anatolia were presented to the visitors.
Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu, who made a speech after the opening, drew attention to the historical and cultural importance of the Silk Road and emphasized the role of such events in keeping historical awareness alive.
