Under the chairmanship of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the Presidents of Marmara, Thrace and Western Black Sea Region Chambers and Exchanges came together.

Tahsin Becan, Chairman of the Board of YTSO; At the meeting held on the Island of Democracy and Freedoms with the participation of the Regional Chambers and Exchange Presidents, the problems experienced in the sectors and provinces and solution proposals were discussed. Emphasizing the need to create economic support packages and credit opportunities under appropriate conditions in order to overcome the economic difficulties of the sectors that were negatively affected during the pandemic process and to eliminate the grievances experienced, we conveyed our request for an additional limit for the Breath Credit provided by our Chamber and TOBB resources.

I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Democracy and Freedoms Island, which was built by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Customs and Tourism Enterprises Trade Inc. upon the instruction of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and will be operated by TOBB. The Island of Democracy and Freedom, managed by TOBB and open to daily visits, has two basic functions.

On the island, the coup, arrests and trials, which are shameful documents of Turkey's democracy and political history, are taught to the young generations of the country and the cherished memories of Adnan Menderes, Hasan Polatkan and Fatin Rüştü Zorlu are kept alive. The island, which will host national and international meetings as of August, aims to share the historical experience in this field at a global level.
