A meeting was held where the issues of state support, incentives and training programs to be provided and the development of women's cooperatives were discussed.
At the meeting held at the YTSO Assembly Meeting Hall, Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman of the Board Cemil Demiryürek said, “Acting with the aim of including women's power in the economy and ensuring gender equality, YTSO takes steps to support the development of women's cooperatives in brand and marketing. We are working to enable women's cooperatives to determine their brand values and deliver their products to their target audiences, and to present them with a strategic roadmap.”
Emphasizing the importance of understanding customer needs, evaluating the competition and following market trends, Demiryürek said: "Developing new products and diversifying existing products enables women's cooperatives to better respond to customers' preferences and increase their marketing opportunities. Digital marketing should promote and market its products using different channels such as social media, influencer collaborations, events and press relations. It is important for women's co-operatives to evaluate collaborations and distribution channels in order to increase their sales and expand their product range. Methods such as strategic partnerships, agreements with retail stores, integration into e-commerce platforms and export will enable women's cooperatives to offer their products to a wider customer base. We also aim to contribute to the success of our women entrepreneurs by consulting with our Provincial Managers, our Women Entrepreneurs Board, Yalova Women's Entrepreneurs Association and women's cooperatives. In addition, we plan to develop various incentives and training programs for women's cooperatives to receive more support. In this way, we aim to offer opportunities that will enable women to take a stronger place in business life. I would also like to thank our corporate managers for their unwavering support in this matter.”
