YTSO IS ON EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS
Tahsin Becan, Chairman of the Board of Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YTSO), said that after two earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.7 and 7.6, the epicenter of which was Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş and affecting 10 provinces in total, Yalova Governorship and Turkey Chambers and Commodity Exchanges for our provinces affected by the earthquake. He stated that they are working in coordination with the Union.
Expressing that one of the most severe disasters in the history of the country was experienced by going to the region where the disaster occurred immediately after the earthquake that was effective in 10 cities, Mayor Becan said that the tragedy in the region is much more severe than what is seen on television and social media. Noting that the citizens who were left in the wreckage had to struggle with the cold weather conditions, Mayor Becan said, "We saw that most of our disaster victims here need tents, sleeping bags resistant to negative temperatures, heating and food. It is very important that our Chamber, our members and citizens provide the same needs of the region, and with the support of our Yalova Municipality, in this context, catalytic stove, blanket, coat, boots, berets, gloves, coats and winter clothes for children, food parcels in the first place. As of today, we continue to ship our trucks to Hatay, as they carry out the shipment of water, diapers and food, and cleaning and hygiene materials, as well as the vehicles and equipment to be used in the debris removal works in the Region, and that the vehicles and equipment to be used in the debris removal works have been sent again by our members. We will continue to send aid trucks together with our support.
We deeply feel and share the pain of our citizens affected by the earthquake. Now is the time to be one heart for our country. We invite all our members to help our citizens who were damaged by the earthquake. In these days when the winter season makes itself felt most, we will share our pain and try to reduce the damage by being united in unity, solidarity and solidarity. We convey our best wishes to our citizens who were harmed by the earthquake, we wish a speedy recovery to the injured and God's mercy to those who lost their lives.
