Yalova Tourism Roadmap determination works continue without slowing down
In order to contribute to the development of Yalova's tourism sector, "Yalova Tourism Roadmap" studies were initiated. Cappadocia University academics and Yalova Provincial Promotion and Development Board members came together and held an online meeting on July 12, 2023 in this important project initiated by the Ministry of Tourism all over Turkey within the scope of the "Province Based Tourism Roadmap" project.
With the participation of Galip Atik, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors representing our Chamber, Yalova Provincial Culture and Tourism Director Ziya Karatekin, Yasin Özaslan from Yalova University, East Marmara Development Agency Yalova Investment Support Office Coordinator Murat Özkan, TÜRSAB Southern Marmara Region Representative Board Member Nihal Gak, Ahmet Yiğit from Yalova Eco-Tourism and Healthy Living Association and Cappadocia University Academics attended.
Stating that with the Yalova Tourism Roadmap project, they aim to create a comprehensive roadmap in order to make the best use of Yalova's tourism potential and to achieve sustainable growth in the tourism sector, Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vice President Galip Atik said, "This project is the unique tourist attraction of Yalova. It is a detailed planning study that includes issues such as determining the values of tourism, developing tourism infrastructure, planning marketing strategies and promoting sustainable tourism practices.
The project aims to strengthen Yalova's tourism sector, support economic growth, provide employment to local people and increase the tourism attraction of the region. Elements such as Yalova's natural beauties, historical and cultural riches, thermal springs and unique geographical location play an important role in the creation of this roadmap.
The "Yalova Tourism Roadmap" project will help identify strategic steps that will contribute to Yalova's becoming more competitive and sustainable in the tourism sector. Thus, it is aimed to make the best use of Yalova's tourism potential, to offer an unforgettable experience to the visitors and to increase the tourism revenues of the region.
