The Insurance Agencies Congress was hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). At the congress attended by Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry Council Member Rahmi Üstel, 7th Professional Committee President Mehmet Görpe, Insurance Yalova Provincial Delegate Şenay Alış and Deputy Secretary General Tolga Akıncı, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, "Many disasters we have experienced recently are once again "It showed that insurance is not a luxury, but a necessity," he said.

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the insurance sector is the guarantee of the Turkish economy and said, “We must continue to raise awareness of our merchants, industrialists, farmers and all our people. We must offer them the most appropriate coverage and the right policies. In case of damage, we must provide the fastest and most reliable service to the insured. Only our agencies can provide all this. You help people and companies manage their risks and provide them with protection. Therefore, this system cannot grow without you. We have more work to do to grow the insurance industry. As long as you maintain your unity, there is no problem you cannot solve. As I always say, "there is mercy in unity, there is torment in separation" he said.

TOBB Insurance Agencies Executive Committee (SAİK) President Levent Korkut emphasized in his speech that 2023 will be a difficult year with the earthquake, and said that the importance of insurance was revealed once again in the earthquake. Korkut stated that the Congress is an important opportunity to discuss the sector's problems and solution suggestions.
