Visit from Yalova University Ethics Club to YTSO
Establishing an Ethics Club at Yalova University, Club President Kübra Topaloğlu, Vice President Ömer Faruk Karabak, Board Member Gözde Bülbül and Club Advisor and President of the Ethics Association in the Academy, Prof. Dr. Fahri Apaydın visited Tahsin Becan, President of Yalova University Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Establishing an Ethics Club at Yalova University, Club President Kübra Topaloğlu, Vice President Ömer Faruk Karabak, Board Member Gözde Bülbül and Club Advisor and President of the Ethics Association in the Academy, Prof. Dr. Fahri Apaydın visited Tahsin Becan, President of Yalova University Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Congratulating the students for their initiative, Tahsin Becan stated that they, as the chamber, welcome such activities with great happiness and stated that they are ready for all kinds of support.
Tahsin Becan emphasized that trust and ethical values are essential in business life and that it is important for businesses to stay loyal to ethical values in order to survive and grow. prof. Dr. Fahri Apaydın, on the other hand, stated that it is important to give ethics education at younger ages and emphasized that as the Association, they make efforts to increase ethical awareness in both academicians and students.
Expressing that as Yalova University FEAS students, they consider establishing an Ethics Club as an important step to increase ethical awareness, Kübra Topaloğlu stated that they will make efforts to establish student ethics clubs in other universities.
Ömer Faruk Karabak requested Tahsin Becan to give conferences to the students at the university for business people from Yalova to discuss the practices related to ethics in the business world. Responding positively to this request, Tahsin Becan stated that the room is behind the young people with all its possibilities and that the businessman-student meeting will contribute to practical training, which will be an important step for Turkey's development.
