The problems experienced in grant support and Nefes Credit should be resolved immediately.
Tahsin BECAN, President of Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry, asked for the problems related to Grant Support and Breath Credit to be eliminated.
Our shopkeepers, who are seriously affected by the pandemic process, cannot benefit from the grant support of 3,000 TL and 5,000 TL provided by our state, as there are problems with nace codes.
Our companies cannot benefit from the grant support because they do not receive the NACE codes related to their real business areas without paying much attention when establishing their businesses, or because they do not correct the NACE codes despite making changes in their fields of activity over time.
In fact, the current activities of the enterprises can be easily seen on the invoices they have issued. Therefore, all tradesmen who have not opened their business for 15 months should definitely benefit from the new supports and grants announced by the government, and the NACE code arrangement sought in the application system should be reviewed by our authorities.
We have conveyed the problems experienced regarding this issue to both our Ministry of Commerce and our Presidency of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey. We hope that a regulation will be made and the grievances of our tradesmen will be prevented.
Again, under the Breath Credit conditions issued for YTSO members with the resources of Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry and TOBB, it was stipulated that businesses with a turnover of 2020 that is 25% lower than the turnover of 2019 should benefit. However, in these calculations, we have members who lose their right to apply even with very small numbers.
It is obvious that our members are experiencing loss of turnover. It is seen that our workplaces, whose businesses have to be closed continuously for a period of 15 months, and workplaces that are opened and closed periodically, are experiencing serious losses. Considering the inflation rates in our country, the increase in input prices naturally also reflects on sales prices. In this direction, although the turnover of our members seems to have increased, when we look at the whole picture, it can be easily seen that the difference, which seems to be an increase in turnover compared to the previous year, is due to the increase in prices.
In this respect, it is important to reconsider the turnover loss condition in the regulation made for Nefes Loan, and for the banks to assist our members in matters such as file costs, insurance costs, guarantees. As YTSO, we continue to convey our requests to the relevant authorities in order to eliminate these problems experienced by our members. We believe that our President and Ministry of Commerce will solve these problems of our tradesmen in Yalova, as in all of Turkey.
