PRESIDENT BECAN CALLS THE HELPERS FROM YALOVA
Tahsin Becan, Chairman of the Board of Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YTSO), said that the Great earthquake shook us all as a country and deeply saddened us. We all feel the indescribable pain in our hearts, and on the other hand, we mobilize to heal our pain.
In these days when the winter season makes itself felt the most, we will share our pain and try to reduce the damage by being united in unity, solidarity and solidarity.
As one of those who went to the disaster area for the first time, I would like to say that the biggest need of the region right now is shelter. However, one of the most challenging issues for our citizens in disasters is the need for hygiene. As a state and nation, the efforts to establish tent cities and later container cities are progressing rapidly. However, people in that region urgently need shelter until these are completed.
For this reason, it is important for our citizens of Yalova to transfer their caravans that are not currently in use to that region for a period of 3 months. We ask our members who want to help in this way to contact us.
Another important issue is to host our citizens in our homes for 3 months. If there are any of our members who want to host a survivor in their own homes, if they contact us, we will be able to assist them in taking the necessary actions.”
