YTSO President Cemil Demiryürek, in his statement that he reacted to the opening of a local products market at various times in the center of Yalova, stated that those who allow sales in this way make traders and artisans aggrieved, who pay their taxes and fulfill their obligations.

Demiryürek, who said that companies from outside the city made victims of Yalova merchants and producers by selling in the center of Yalova under the name of local products, said that companies in Yalova, which pay their rent and taxes and try to fulfill all their responsibilities, are harmed by these and similar practices. In the meeting held with the members of the assembly and professional committee in the 1st Professional Committee of YTSO, it was stated that such sales should not be allowed by local administrations or government officials.

In Yalova, sales are tried to be made with different names or practices, such as local tents or local product markets, local product festivals. An unregistered trade area is opened under the name 'Local Products Market'. The products sold by the shopkeepers of Yalova are sold indifferently in this market and the tradesmen of Yalova are harmed by creating an unfair competition environment. The common demand of our members is that the local municipalities should not allow these transactions. Even if such organizations are desired, organizations where the products produced in Yalova will be exhibited and sold, in which members registered in the professional chambers in Yalova will participate, should be supported.

Demiryürek stated that everyone living in this city and making a living in this city should act responsibly in order to protect the rights of merchants and artisans in Yalova, and that the administrations that allow such organizations should put an end to these practices as soon as possible.
