During KOSGEB President Ahmet Serdar İbrahimcioğlu’s visit to Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YTSO) President Cemil Demiryürek, members’ demands and important issues regarding KOSGEB support came to the agenda. President Demiryürek emphasized that new support should be provided and the scope of current support should be expanded in order for businesses in Yalova to receive more support.

KOSGEB President Ahmet Serdar İbrahimcioğlu provided information about KOSGEB’s planned support programs for 2025, stating that they will launch a new support program for the manufacturing industry in the first week of January, and shared the information that they will continue to provide support to our businesses in production.

YTSO Vice President of the Board of Directors Galip Atik, Vice President of the Assembly Abdurrahman Tutugu, Assembly Member Hakan Gençer, Secretary General Taner Eriş and our Chamber’s KOSGEB Coordinator Bülent Arıcı also attended the meeting, where it was particularly emphasized that various supports provided by KOSGEB for small and medium-sized businesses will increase the growth potential of local businesses. In this context, the introduction of new support mechanisms was evaluated as an important step for entrepreneurs to access more opportunities. It was also stated that existing supports should be made more accessible and useful, especially for SMEs in Yalova.

President Demiryürek stated that KOSGEB supports are an important tool for the growth of businesses and said that in order for these supports to reach wider audiences, it is necessary to be more sensitive to the needs of the local business world.

He conveyed the demands, including the needs and expectations of YTSO members, to İbrahimcioğlu and emphasized the importance of providing all the supports necessary for the development of the business world.
