Happy 101st Anniversary of Yalova's Liberation from Enemy Occupation
We are happy to celebrate the 101st anniversary of the liberation of Yalova, the pearl of Marmara, from enemy occupation with joy and enthusiasm.
The Turkish people are a nation that has lived free and independent for centuries and has accepted independence as a condition of life. Our beloved nation, which has never accepted the domination of other powers over its own will throughout its thousands of years of history and has always devoted its existence to the cause of an independent state, gained its independence to Yalova on 19 July 1921 as a result of the national struggle led by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
That's why July 19 is not just a date for us, it's more than a date; It is the name of our glorious liberation and the epic we wrote against the occupation forces. July 19 is the day when our beloved nation determined the salvation destiny of our city through a thousand and one difficulties. Today we celebrate the 101st anniversary of this blessed day; I commemorate our heroic martyrs and veterans, especially the great statesman Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in arms, who gave us this enthusiasm and fought heroically at the cost of their lives, with gratitude and respect, I congratulate the 19th of July Liberation Day of all Yalova residents, and present my love and respect.
