Digital Signature Ease in Trade Registry Transactions
In order to increase the transaction speed of commercial enterprises and reduce bureaucracy, the digital signature application was put into use in our Trade Registry Directorate, which operates within our Chamber, as of March 1, 2022.
Making a statement on the subject, YTSO Trade Registry Manager İbrahim Akkanat said, “With this application; In Article 40 of the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102, it is regulated that the signature data of the persons authorized to sign on behalf of the company/enterprise, if available, are obtained electronically from the data kept in the databases by the public institutions and organizations and recorded in the trade registry file, thus it is currently physically registered in the Trade Registry. It is aimed to transfer the signature statement, which should be given to the directorates, to the electronic environment.
Talking about the advantages of the application, Akkanat said, “The integration studies carried out in this context with the Ministry of Interior General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs (NVI) have been completed. Signature samples of persons who are authorized to be added with the new identity card can be taken from NVI electronically and recorded in the MERSIS database. In this way, it is aimed to get the signature samples of the authorized persons from the digital environment free of charge, without going to the notary public or the service building.”
On the other hand, the "Authorization Acceptance Transactions" module was created in MERSIS in order to carry out the authorization procedures of the persons authorized to sign on behalf of the company/enterprise in electronic environment.
