YTSO Young Rota came together with vocational high school principals in Armutlu as ‘For the Development of Vocational Education’. Yalova Governor Dr. Hülya Kaya, YTSO Chairman Cemil Demiryürek, Provincial Director of National Education Halil İbrahim Akmeşe, Istanbul Chamber of Industry Deputy Secretary General Dr. Hakan Çoban, YTSO Assembly Members Metin Soysal and Köksal Ketenci and 14 vocational high school principals attended the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, Yalova Governor Dr. Hülya Kaya drew attention to the importance of vocational education for the youth of the region and said, ‘This strong bond established between industry and our educational institutions is a big step for us to raise well-equipped individuals in the future. I wish that such cooperation will continue to increase.’ Cemil Demiryürek, Chairman of the Board of Directors of YTSO, said, ‘Vocational education is the main source of qualified labour force needed by our business world. Our aim with the Young Route project is to bring our young people together with the business world and guide them on their career journeys. We would also like to thank Osman Çardak for hosting us at Armutlu İhlas Holiday Village.’
Dr Hakan Çoban, Deputy Secretary General of Istanbul Chamber of Industry, made a presentation about the ISO Vocational Education Cooperation Project and informed the participants. YTSO Trade Registry Manager and Management Systems Specialist İbrahim Akkanat gave information about the activities carried out within the scope of YTSO Young Rota project. After the presentations, 14 vocational high school principals shared information about their schools and departments.
